Apex Print + Design – Family Owned and Operated, Printing Company based in Petone, Wellington
The right finishing can turn a print job from something ordinary into something that looks polished, feels considered and is built for its purpose. We offer a full range of in-house print finishing services for businesses across Lower Hutt, Petone and Wellington, whether your job needs one finishing process or several stages from start to finish.
Collating
For multi-part jobs such as reports, presentation packs and booklets, we collate pages into the correct order and sets, ready for binding, packing or distribution.
Die Cutting
Custom shapes, cut-outs and non-standard formats can all be created through die cutting. It’s the option to choose when a standard straight cut simply won’t do.
Thermographing
Thermographing creates a raised, tactile finish that adds texture and character to printed text. Often used for business cards and invitations, it’s a simple way to give a piece of print a more distinctive, premium feel.
Creasing & Folding
Heavier stocks can crack when folded, which is why creasing first makes a difference. From a straightforward bi-fold brochure to a more complex multi-panel piece, we handle the creasing and folding in-house.
Perforating
For anything that needs a clean tear-off section, such as tickets, vouchers or forms, we can add perforation to make separation easy and tidy.
Laminating
Lamination adds protection as well as a polished finish. It’s ideal for menus, posters, cards and other printed pieces that need to stand up to regular handling.
Wiro, Perfect & Spiral Binding
Reports, manuals, presentation documents and booklets all need different types of binding depending on how they’ll be used. We offer wiro, perfect and spiral binding, and can help you choose the option that best suits the finished job.
Padding
For notepads, order books and tear-off forms, we pad sheets together along one edge to create a practical, easy-to-use pad rather than a stack of loose paper.
Delivery
Once your job is finished, we can arrange delivery directly to you. This is particularly useful for larger runs or time-sensitive projects where collecting the order yourself isn’t practical.
